YamaCon reached out to me and asked if I would create the artwork for their 2015 V.I.P. print. Naturally I was honored to be asked, and happy to create the art!
The theme of the convention was “A Pirate’s life 4 me” in honor of their 4th year. So with that theme in mind, I studied the list of voice actors attending and tried to match them with as many One Piece characters as I could.
Unfortunately not all the voice acting guests had played parts on One Piece, so I had to add a few extra characters which is why we see Trunks, Ichigo, Major Armstrong, and a few others appear in the art.
YamaCon is a wonderful con that continues to get bigger and better every year. If you’re ever near Pigeon Forge, TN in December, DEFINITELY check out the con!
